Since I have memory, I’ve always been passionate about art. As a child, I used to play among the coffee plantations near my home, enjoying the sun and nature; and in my free time, I immersed myself in the wonderful world of cartoons and comics. All of this led me to develop my career as a multidisciplinary graphic artist.
At every opportunity, I would take any paper I found and draw on it, trying to capture my favorite comic book characters. I remember dismantling empty cereal boxes to draw new covers on the back and designing labels with their logos to stick on my parents’ vinyl records. As a result, these early experiences allowed me to win several drawing contests in elementary school. At the age of seventeen, I had my first encounter with technology, complementing sign design with the first computers of that era. By the age of twenty-three, I was one of the pioneers in creating design projects for advertisements and magazines, using the early versions of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. While gaining experience in the technological field, I supplemented my knowledge with a university degree in Fine Arts, where I learned concepts of painting, design, and sculpture. All of this has been fundamental in developing my passion for art and my ability as a graphic artist.
