Director of an interdisciplinary team for large-scale housing complexes - National Housing Secretariat, years 1987/88. Consultant for the General Urban Planning Plan of Avellaneda - Agreement between the National Housing Secretariat and the Community of Madrid.
Member of the Plan for the Central Area of Buenos Aires.
Has received numerous awards in national and private urban and architectural project competitions. Likewise, has received several distinctions in the practice of the profession, including: Argentine Architecture Annual Award in 1991, 1992, and 1994; Vitruvio Award, National Museum of Fine Arts in 1996 and 2001; Biennial Architecture Award granted by the Professional Council of Architecture and the Central Society of Architects in 1995, 1998, and 2000; Corporate Architecture Award in 1997 from the Buenos Aires Province College; Award from the International Committee of Architectural Critics (CICA) in 1997; 2002 – Konex Merit Diploma in 2002; 2004 – Decade Award from the University of Palermo.
Since 1980, was part of the architectural firm Berdichevsky Cherny Arquitectos – BBRCH S.A. Although specialized in corporate architecture, the firm has worked in all areas of architecture: offices, hotels, industry, sports, commerce, services, individual and collective housing. The projects carried out, in both the public and private sectors, include infrastructure, urban planning, and urban design, as well as the development of medium-scale complexes such as parks, clubs, gated communities, country clubs, and rural estates.
Was a member of the Advisory Board of FOROALFA.
Passed away on November 30, 2012.
